Giulio Ciccone (born 20 December 1994) is an Italian cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Bardiani–CSF (2016–18) Ciccone was named in the start list for the 2016 Giro d'Italia, where he won stage 10. At the 2018 Giro d'Italia, Ciccone finished second in the mountains classification, behind overall race winner Chris Froome. Also in 2018, Ciccone won the Giro dell'Appennino and finished second in the inaugural Adriatica Ionica Race. Trek–Segafredo (2019–present) After three years with , Ciccone joined on an initial two-year contract from the 2019 season. At the Giro d'Italia, Ciccone led the mountains classification for all but one stage, winning the jersey with more than twice as many points than the runner-up Fausto Masnada. The Tour de France () is an annual men's multiple-stage bicycle race primarily held in France, while also occasionally passing through nearby countries. Like the other Grand Tours (the Giro d'Italia and the Vuelta a España), it consists of 21 stages, each a day long, over the course of 23 days, coinciding with the Bastille Day holiday. It is the oldest of the Grand Tours and generally considered the most prestigious. The young rider classification is a secondary competition in the Tour de France, that started in 1975 Tour de France, 1975. Excluding the years 1989 Tour de France, 1989 to 1999 Tour de France, 1999, the leader of the young rider classification wears a white jersey (french: maillot blanc). The requirements to be eligible for the young rider classification have changed over the years but have always been such that experienced cyclists were not eligible, sometimes by excluding cyclists over a certain age, cyclists who had entered the Tour de France before, or cyclists who had been professional for more than two years. In the most recent years, only cyclists who will remain below 26 in the year the race is held are eligible. La Planche Des Belles Filles
La Planche des Belles Filles () is a ski station in the Vosges Mountains, in France. It is located in the Haute-Saône département. Since 2012, the climb to the summit has been used several times during the Tour de France cycle race. Etymology and legend The name ''Belles Filles'' literally means "beautiful girls", but is actually derived from the local plant life. The mountain is attested from the 16th century as ''lieu peuplé de belles fahys'', a "place inhabited with nice beech trees" in the local dialect. ''Belles fahys'' later became corrupted into ''Belles Filles'', though there remains a nearby village of Belfahy. Meanwhile, ''Planche'', "board", is derived from the nearby small town of Plancher-les-Mines.
