Gisela Pulido
Gisela Pulido Borrell (born 14 January 1994) is a Spanish kitesurfer. In 2004, she became the sport's youngest world champion, at age 10. She has subsequently won multiple world titles. Biography Gisela Pulido was born in Premià de Mar on 14 January 1994. She was proclaimed Kitesurfing World Champion for the first time in November 2004, when she was only 10 years old. After this sporting success, she was awarded a Guinness World Record as the youngest kitesurfing world champion in history. A year later, in October 2005, she won the gold medal in kitesurfing at Gravity Games H2O in Perth, Australia, and a month later, in November 2005, she retained her title as Kitesurfing World Champion in Nouméa, New Caledonia. Premià De Mar
Premià de Mar () is a municipality in the ''comarca'' of the Maresme in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the coast between El Masnou and Vilassar de Mar, to the north-east of Barcelona. Matanzas is a coastal village famous for its beach, located in the commune of Navidad in the O'Higgins Region of Chile. Kiteboarding or kitesurfing is a sport that involves using wind power with a large power kite to pull a rider across a water, land, or snow surface. It combines aspects of paragliding, surfing, windsurfing, skateboarding, snowboarding, and wakeboarding. Kiteboarding is among the less expensive and the more convenient sailing sports. After some concepts emerged in the late 1970s and early 1980s and some designs were successfully tested, the sport received a wider audience in the late 1990s and became mainstream at the turn of the century.
