Giro Apo T' Oneiro
''Giro apo t'oneiro'' ( ; English: "''Around the dream''") is the fourth Greek language, Greek-language studio album and sixth studio album overall by Greece, Greek singer Helena Paparizou, released on 29 March 2010 by Sony Music Entertainment, Sony Music Greece. The album, which was certified platinum in Greece for 12,000 shipments, was released in both standard and deluxe editions, with the deluxe edition featuring a live DVD. Distributed initially as a covermount with the Greek newspaper ''Real News'' on 28 March, it sold 140,000 copies through both releases, making it the most widely distributed release of Paparizou's career. Its singles performed moderately well compared to her previous albums, with "Tha 'Mai Allios", "An Isouna Agapi", and "Girna Me Sto Htes (song), Girna Me Sto Htes" managing to reach the top 10 of the domestic charts. Helena Paparizou
Helena Paparizou (; ; born 31 January 1982) is a Swedish-Greek singer, and television personality. Born and raised in Sweden to Greek parents, she launched her singing career in Sweden in 1999 as a member of the laïko (Greek folk music) and Eurodance duo Antique (band), Antique with friend Nikos Panagiotidis. The group released five studio albums between 1999 and 2003, and Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 2001, represented Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 2001. Antique disbanded in 2003, and Paparizou signed a solo recording contract with Sony Music Entertainment, Sony Music. Her debut solo single "Anapandites Kliseis" preceding the album ''Protereotita'' (2004); her style had an emphasis on laïko, pop music, pop, and dance music, dance sounds. In 2005, she represented Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 with the song "My Number One", which won the contest for Greece for the first time. Covermount
Covermount (sometimes written cover mount) is the name given to storage media (containing software and or audiovisual media) or other products (ranging from toys to flip-flops) packaged as part of a magazine or newspaper. The name comes from the method of packaging; the media or product is placed in a transparent plastic sleeve and mounted on the cover of the magazine with adhesive tape or glue. History Audio recordings were distributed in the UK by the use of covermounts in the 1960s by the fortnightly satirical magazine '' Private Eye'' though the term "covermount" was not in usage at that time. The Private Eye recordings were pressed onto 7" floppy vinyl (known as "flexi-discs" and "flimsies") and mounted on to the front of the magazine. Retrieved on April 19, 2008 The song was released as a single on April 8, 2008 to radio stations all over Greece and Cyprus. Song information The single officially debuted on April 8, 2008 when it was played for the first time on Kosmoradio of Thessaloniki. In Athens the song aired for the very first time on Sfera Radio. The music is by Per Lidén, Niclas Olausson and Toni Mavridis, with lyrics by Eleana Vrahali. The photography used on the cover is by Elena's director Alexandros Grammatopoulos. Glyfada (, ) is a town and a suburb in the South Athens regional unit located in the Athens Riviera along the coast of Saronic Gulf. ''Protereotita'' () is the debut solo album by Greek singer Helena Paparizou, released on 27 June 2004 by Sony Music, Sony Music Greece. The album's first single, Anapandites Kliseis, was released as a CD-single prior to the album's release and reached number 1 on the Greek IFPI singles chart. The album was also re-released twice in Greece, and once internationally as ''My Number One''. Overall, there are five different editions available of the album. The original album was only a mild success, however, following Paparizou's victory in the Eurovision Song Contest the ''Euro Edition'' peaked at number one on the charts and was certified platinum by the IFPI. ''The Game of Love'' is the Greek singer Helena Paparizou's second English-language international album after the release of ''My Number One'' in 2005. It was first released in Greece on 25 October 2006. The album is composed of 12 tracks and a bonus track; seven of these had been previously released on Paparizou's previous album '' Iparhi Logos'', and another was released exclusively to Scandinavia as the official song of the European Athletics Championships. To Party Arhizei (Greek: Το πάρτυ αρχίζει; English: The party is starting) is the first official large-scale concert tour by Greek contemporary laïka and pop singer Helena Paparizou and her first tour of Greece as a solo artist. The tour took place during the summer of 2008, and kicked off at the National Stadium in Kalamata on July 2, 2008, ending in Athens on September 19, 2008.
