''Girl Crazy'' is a 1997 American comedy film written and directed by Richard Dutcher. Dutcher's first feature film, it was initially shown on HBO's Cinemax service, and never received theatrical distribution. Plot Tommy McIntosh (Richard Dutcher) was raised by adoring women and he learned to himself adore women. He has a neurotic antipathy toward men. He gets into trouble when Rachel (Linda Bon), the one woman to whom he has professed eternal love finds out he's been sleeping around. To win her back he must learn how to be a man. Background Having spent five years in its making, Dutcher admitted that the movie was fluff and "not very good", but said that it gave him the kind of experience in making films that he had not gotten in film school. Miriam Cutler is an American composer best known for her documentary film work. Life and career Cutler is a Los Angeles-based film composer, scoring and performing music for over 20 years. She began her musical career as songwriter and clarinet player with The New Miss Alice Stone Ladies Society Orchestra; she then joined the Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo as a clarinetist, and later founded the group Swingstreet. ''God's Army'' is a 2000 American independent film written, directed by and features Richard Dutcher. Plot ''God's Army'' is about LDS missionaries as they struggle with their work and, almost inevitably, their faith. The movie focuses on a pair of missionaries, Elder Allen (Brown) and Elder Dalton (Dutcher) serving as missionaries in Los Angeles, California (" elder" is an office in the priesthood and a title male LDS missionaries use while serving missions). Dalton is a seasoned missionary and Allen is a new recruit paired with Dalton to be trained. Allen questions his reason for being on a mission. He is a somewhat faithful member of the church, but his father was excommunicated from the church and his mother doesn't attend anymore.
