Giovanni Negri
Giovanni Negri (born 16 May 1957) is an Italian politician. Born in Turin and a member of the Radical Party (PR), he was the party's secretary from 1984 to 1988, with it dissolving soon after. He was elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 1983 by his city's constituency. He resigned in July 1984 and was replaced by Franco Roccella. He was re-elected again to serve from 1987 to 1992. From April 1988 to July 1989 he was a Member of the European Parliament. In 2016, he was leading the social movement and planned political party La Marianna, named after Marianne, the effigy of the French Revolution. He described it as a voice for the "homeless" of politics whom he considered to have been let down by Matteo Renzi, Beppe Grillo and Lega Nord. Matteo Renzi
Matteo Renzi (; born 11 January 1975) is an Italian politician who served as prime minister of Italy from 2014 to 2016. He has been a senator for Florence since 2018. Renzi has served as the leader of Italia Viva (IV) since 2019, having been the secretary of the Democratic Party (PD) from 2013 to 2018, with a brief interruption in 2017. After serving as the president of the province of Florence from 2004 to 2009 and the mayor of Florence from 2009 to 2014, Renzi was elected secretary of the PD in 2013, becoming Prime Minister the following year. Lega Nord (; acronym: LN), whose complete name is (), is a right-wing, federalist, populist and conservative political party in Italy. In the run-up of the 2018 general election, the party was rebranded as (), without changing its official name. The party was nonetheless frequently referred to only as "Lega" even before the rebranding, and informally as the (). The party's latest elected leader was Matteo Salvini. Giuseppe Piero "Beppe" Grillo (; born 21 July 1948) is an Italian comedian, actor, blogger, and politician. He has been involved in politics since 2009 as the co-founder (together with Gianroberto Casaleggio) of the Italian Five Star Movement political party.
