Giovanni Bilivert
Giovanni Biliverti (surname also written as Bilivelt and Bilivert or other variants) (Florence, 25 August 1585 – Florence, 16 July 1644) was an Italian painter of the late-Mannerism and early-Baroque period, active mainly in his adoptive city of Florence, as well as Rome. Life and work Biliverti was born as Jan Bilevelt. His father was Giacomo Giovanni Biliverti (born as Jacob Janszoon Bijlevelt) (1550–1603), goldsmith and hard-stone carver working for the Medici. After his father’s death in 1603, Giovanni worked in the studio of Lodovico Cigoli, following him in April 1604 till 1607 to Rome. There he worked in projects approved by Pope Clement VIII. In 1609 Bilivert joined the Medici-sponsored guild of artists, the ''Accademia del Disegno'' in Florence. Bilivert was employed by Cosimo II de' Medici from 1611 until 1621, as a designer for works in pietra dura. Agostino Melissi (c.1616, Florence – 1683, Florence) was an Italian painter of the Baroque art, Baroque period; active mainly in Florence. Orazio Fidani
Orazio Fidani (10 July 1610, Florence – 2 January 1656, Florence) @ the RKD was an Italian painter; primarily of religious and mythological subjects. He practiced a style of Naturalism (art), Naturalism associated with Florence. The works of Caravaggio were an obvious influence. His primary teacher was Giovanni Bilivert, whose studio he was employed in for twelve years. He later wrote Bilivert's biography. Francesco Furini was a friend and frequent collaborator. Baccio Del Bianco
Luigi Baccio del Bianco or Baccio del Bianco (31 October 1604 – July 1657) was an Italian architect, engineer, scenic designer and painter. Biography He was born in Florence where his father, Cosimo del Bianco, sold cloth to the nobility for use in festivals, tournaments, and theatrical performances. He studied painting under Giovanni Bilivert from 1612 to 1620. Baccio's work and letters also show the influence exerted on the painter by Vincenzio Bocaccio of Rome, who came to Florence, delegated as one of the best students of the architect and painter Lodovico Cigoli. He also apprenticed under Giulio Parigi.
