Giannis Papadopoulos (footballer, Born 1989)
Giannis Papadopoulos ( el, Γιάννης Παπαδόπουλος; born 9 March 1989) is a Greek professional footballer who last played as a midfielder for Iraklis. He was the captain of the Greece Under-19 team. He plays in a central midfield role predominantly, although he is capable of playing as a left midfielder and also as an attacking midfielder. Club career Iraklis Papadopoulos started out his career at Iraklis as a trainee. His second season was a very impressive one, catching the eye of major Greek teams in 2007–08, which eventually earned him a move to Olympiacos on 3 June 2008. The transfer fee was thought to be around 800,000 Euros. Papadopoulos is left-footed, and his main strength is his powerful shot which he uses to great effect by often shooting from long distances. Jagiellonia Białystok () is a Polish football club based in Białystok that plays in the Ekstraklasa, the top level of Polish football. The club was founded in 1920 by soldiers in the Reserve Battalion in Białystok. Jagiellonia play their home games at Stadion Miejski. The Super League (officially known as the Betfred Super League due to sponsorship from Betfred and legally known as Super League Europe), is the top-level of the British rugby league system. At present the league consists of twelve teams, of which eleven are from Northern England, reflecting the sport's geographic heartland within the UK, and one from southern France.
