Giannis Kargas ( el, Γιάννης Κάργας; born 9 December 1994) is a Greek professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Defender (association football)#Centre-back, centre-back for Super League Greece, Super League club PAOK FC, PAOK. Career Early career The 1.88 meter tall defender, started his career in the academies of Kavala F.C., Kavala and in 2011 he signed a professional contract with the people of Kavala. He played 20 times with the club's jersey and then followed his transfer to Fostiras F.C., Fostiras in 2013 where he stayed for only 6 months. In January 2014 he moved to Patra on behalf of Panachaiki F.C., Panachaiki, where he remained for 2 years (48 appearances, 1 goal and 2 assists), to move to Platanias F.C., Platanias in January 2016 Kargas showed that he was perfectly suited to the top level of Greek football and in 18 months he wore the shirt of the Cretan team 26 times, even scoring two goals. Kilkis ( el, Κιλκίς) is a city in Central Macedonia, Greece. As of 2011 there were 22,914 people living in the city proper, 28,745 people living in the municipal unit, and 51,926 in the municipality of Kilkis. The 2021–22 Super League Greece, known as Super League 1 Interwetten for sponsorship reasons, was the 86th season of the Super League Greece, the top Greek professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1959. The Belarusian Premier League or the Vyšejšaja Liha or the Vysheyshaya Liga ( be, Вышэйшая ліга, russian: Высшая лига, "Top League") is the top division of professional football in Belarus, and is organized by the Belarusian Football Federation. The number of teams in the competition has varied over the years from as high as 17 (1992–93 season) to as low as 11 (2012). As of 2016, the league included 16 teams. The 2018 Belarusian Premier League was the 28th season of top-tier football in Belarus. BATE Borisov were the defending champions, having won their 12th consecutive league title and 14th overall last year, and successfully defended their crown. Teams The bottom two teams from the 2017 season ( Slavia Mozyr and Naftan Novopolotsk) were relegated to the 2018 Belarusian First League. The 2017–18 Super League Greece, or ''Souroti Super League'' for sponsorship reasons, was the 82nd season of the highest tier in league of Greek football and the 12th under its current name. The season started in August 2017 and ended in May 2018. The league comprises fourteen teams from the 2016–17 season and two promoted from the 2016–17 Football League. On 12 March 2018, the Super League Greece was suspended by the Greek government until further notice after the president of PAOK, Ivan Savvidis, had stormed onto the field with a revolver during the match between PAOK and AEK Athens played the previous day.
