Gianmarco Ercoli
Gianmarco Ercoli (born 5 May 1995 in Rome) is an Italian professional racing driver that currently competes in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, driving the No. 54 Chevrolet Camaro for CAAL Racing in the EuroNASCAR PRO class. He is a former one-time champion in the Euro Series, having won the Elite 2 championship title in 2015. Racing career Ercoli started his racing career in 2003 on karting. During his karting career, he won the 2009 Italian Open Masters in the KF3 class. He made his racing debut in 2014 when CAAL Racing entered him in the second round of the 2014 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season at Brands Hatch. He scored his career podium finish in his home race at Magione. Ercoli would finish his debut season in 11th place with 2 podium finishes and 5 Top-10 finishes. Ulysse Delsaux (born 22 September 1997 in Troyes) is a French professional racing driver who currently competes in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, driving the No. 10 Chevrolet Camaro for RDV Competition in both the EuroNASCAR PRO and the EuroNASCAR 2 class. He is a one-time champion in the Euro Series, having won the EuroNASCAR 2 championship in 2018. Automotodrom Grobnik is a motorsport race track located in Čavle, north of Rijeka, Croatia. The circuit was built in 15 months and was opened in 14 September 1978. From 1978 to 1990, it hosted the Yugoslavian motorcycle Grand Prix of MotoGP. ACI Vallelunga Circuit
The Autodromo Vallelunga Piero Taruffi is a racing circuit situated north of Rome, Italy, near Vallelunga of Campagnano. Vallelunga was built as a sand oval in 1951. From 1963 the circuit held the Rome Grand Prix, and in 1967 a new loop was added when the track became the property of the Automobile Club d'Italia (ACI). Further refurbishment was undertaken in 1971. The track is named for the famous Italian racing driver Piero Taruffi. In August 2004 work started on a extension to the track, bringing the track up to its current length. 2019 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series
The 2019 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series is the eleventh Racecar Euro Series season, and the seventh under the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series branding. Alon Day and Ulysse Delsaux entered the season as the defending champion in the Elite 1 and Elite 2 category respectively, however Delsaux will not defend his title as he will move up to Elite 1 for the 2019 season.
