Ghost Machine (Torchwood)
"Ghost Machine" is the third episode of the first series of the British science fiction television series ''Torchwood'', which was broadcast on the digital television channel BBC Three on 29 October 2006. Set in Cardiff, the episode involves a group of alien hunters called Torchwood discovering an alien machine that shows visions of strong emotional events from the past and future. Plot Jack, Owen, and Gwen, pursue Bernie Harris, a petty thief carrying something emitting an alien signal in his jacket, through the Cardiff streets. Gwen chases Bernie into a train station, and is able to grab his jacket but he gets out of it and runs away. Gwen discovers an alien device in the jacket pocket, and when she activates it, she sees a vision of a lost boy called Tom Flanagan wandering the train station in 1941. John Barrowman
John Scot Barrowman (born 11 March 1967) is a Scottish-American actor, author, presenter, singer and comic book writer. He is known for his role as Captain Jack Harkness in ''Doctor Who'' and '' Torchwood'', and as Malcolm Merlyn in the Arrowverse. Richard Stokes is a British television producer and executive producer. In 2003, he was interviewed for the post of producer on the then in pre-production revival of ''Doctor Who'', but ultimately lost out on the job to Phil Collinson. Career He worked on ''Eastenders'' as a script editor towards the end of the 1990s and the early 2000s. The Torchwood Institute, or simply Torchwood, is a fictional secret society, secret organisation from the British science fiction on television, science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'' and its Doctor Who spin-offs, spin-off series ''Torchwood''. It was established in 1879 by Queen Victoria after the events of "Tooth and Claw (Doctor Who), Tooth and Claw". BBC Three
BBC Three is a British free-to-air public broadcast television channel owned and operated by the BBC. "Cyberwoman" is the fourth episode of the first series of the British science fiction television series ''Torchwood''. Written by Chris Chibnall and directed by James Strong, the episode was first broadcast on the digital channel BBC Three on 5 November 2006, and later repeated on terrestrial channel BBC Two on 8 November. Murray Jonathan Gold (born 28 February 1969) is an English composer for stage, film, and television and a dramatist for both theatre and radio.
