''Ghar'' ( ne, घर; ) is a 2019 Nepali horror film written and directed by Arpan Thapa under the banner of DS Digital in association with ASAP Entertainment. It is produced by Sharmila Pandey and Santosh Adhikari. Released on July 19, 2019, the film stars Arpan Thapa, Surakshya Panta, Benisha Hamal, Asmita Khanal, and Saroj Aryal. Synopsis Despite the rumors of ghostly activity, couples buy house for less than what it's worth. They move into that new house, and all of a sudden they start to feel the presence of a supernatural being, because of unusual occurrences that occur in the house. Arpan Thapa
Arpan Thapa ( ne, अर्पण थापा) (born 15 November 1978). is a Nepali actor, director, and scriptwriter. He studied acting in Mumbai in 2002 before returning to Nepal to start his career in the Nepali film industry. He sold CDs at Mahabouddha, to promote the business of a friend, where he met Murray Kerr, the director. Thapa began his acting career with the Nepali film ''Sick City'', playing the lead role as Krishna. He has directed the movie ''Mukhauta'' , which was released on 13 June 2014. Thapa cites Daniel Day-Lewis as his inspiration and has expressed respect for other Nepalese actors, including Hari Bansha Acharya and Madan Krishna Shrestha. Surakshya Panta ( Nepali: सुरक्षा पन्त) is a Nepalese actress, creative director and producer. She debuted as an actress from Alok Nembang's 2015 '' Ajhai Pani'' in a supporting role. Panta rose to fame after her role in '' Dhanapati''. She has also worked in critically acclaimed films like ''Gopi'' and ''Aama''. Benisha Hamal ( ne, बेनिशा हमाल; born ) is a Nepalese radio jockey, model, and actress known for her work in Nepali cinema. She has worked on over a dozen films and more than one hundred music videos. She won several awards, including a national award in 2018 for her film ''Blind Rocks.''
