Gerry McCulloch
Gerry McCulloch is a Scottish television presenter, sports reporter and football commentator. Broadcasting career McCulloch is a former BBC Scotland, Setanta and STV journalist and television presenter. While at STV, McCulloch presented ''The Live Hogmanay Show'', and was a roving reporter for the Scottish kids magazine show ''Skoosh'' and the lifestyle magazine programme ''The Five Thirty Show''. He was best known, however, for working as a sports news presenter on the Central Scotland edition of '' STV News at Six'' and, from March 2010, presenting the sports magazine show '' Sports Centre: Friday Night Football'' alongside Sheelagh McLaren. He also fronted STV's live coverage of Scotland v Brazil from the Emirates Stadium in February 2011, as well as hosting coverage of the Murrayfield Rugby Sevens. STV (TV Network)
STV is a Scottish free-to-air public broadcast television channel owned and operated by the STV Group. It is made up of the Central Scotland and Northern Scotland Channel 3 public broadcaster licences, formerly known as Scottish Television (now legally STV Central Ltd) and Grampian Television (now legally STV North Ltd) respectively. The STV brand refers to the on-air name used by Scottish Television for much of its history - notably in the 1970s and early 1980s. This brand remained in conversational use amongst the local public afterwards. The modern STV brand was adopted on Tuesday 30 May 2006 replacing both franchises' previous identities. The sense of continuity in the name was demonstrated when STV celebrated its 60th birthday in 2017, with special programmes broadcast on STV itself and the now defunct STV2. The Five Thirty Show
''The Five Thirty Show'' is a Scottish topical magazine show, which began broadcasting in Northern and Central Scotland on STV on Monday 28 January 2008. The programme was aired live from STV's Pacific Quay studios in Glasgow, with live link-ups to other parts of Scotland often featuring. In May 2009, it was revealed that the programme would be axed and replaced by a new hour-long format entitled '' The Hour''. The last regular edition of the programme aired on Friday 15 May 2009 and concluded with co-host Rachel McTavish's departure from STV. The final live programme was followed by a week of compilation specials. ''STV News'' is a Scottish news service produced by STV. The news department produces two regional services covering STV's Channel 3 franchise areas of Northern and Central Scotland. STV's news programmes are produced from studios in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen with reporters also based at newsrooms in Dundee and Inverness and political correspondents based at Holyrood and Westminster. Freelance correspondents and camera crews are based on the Orkney and Shetland Isles, Wick and Fort William with a permanent Western Isles correspondent based in Stornoway. ''Gillette Labs Soccer Saturday'' is a weekly television programme broadcast on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and Ireland during the football season. Celtic TV
Celtic TV is the official Internet channel of Celtic F.C. It was a television channel until 2009 but was relaunched online, replacing Channel 67. History Launched in 2004, Celtic TV was operated by the Irish company Setanta Sports and was available on satellite and cable platforms in the UK and Ireland until the demise of the Pay TV operator's UK operation on 23 June 2009, resulting in all of the Setanta run channels including, Celtic TV and its Old Firm counterpart, Rangers TV, being closed.
