Germán Nogueira Gómez
Germán Nogueira Gómez (born October 8, 1961), is a Cuban author, composer and producer. He was born in Havana, Cuba. He has been the winner of several national and international music events. He is the author of many popular songs included in soloists’ discs launched by Cuban and international music distributors. He began his studies in music at this time choosing the guitar as his instrument. ''Old Dogs'' is a 2009 American comedy film directed by Walt Becker and starring John Travolta and Robin Williams with an ensemble supporting cast played by Kelly Preston, Matt Dillon, Justin Long, Seth Green, Rita Wilson, Dax Shepard, Lori Loughlin, and Bernie Mac. Bachata (music)
Bachata is a genre of music that originated in the Dominican Republic in the 20th century. It is a fusion of southwestern European influences, mainly Spanish guitar music, with indigenous Taino and Sub Saharan African musical elements, representative of the cultural diversity of the Dominican population. The first recorded compositions of bachata was done by José Manuel Calderón in 1962 ("Borracho de amor") from the Dominican Republic. Bachata originates from bolero and son (and later, from the mid-1980s, merengue).
