Gerhard Dietmar Eberhard Weiß (also spelled Weiss; 8 January 1960, in Lübz – 17 February 2018, in Kloster Lehnin) was an East German javelin thrower. Lübz is a town in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district, in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany. It is situated on the river Elde, 12 km northeast of Parchim. The Universiade is an international multi-sport event, organized for university athletes by the International University Sports Federation (FISU).
