George Reinke
George Reinke (December 27, 1914 – September 22, 2009) was the first elected County Executive of Dane County, Wisconsin, United States. Born in the town of Middleton, Wisconsin, Reinke served in the Dane County government as an accountant, county clerk, and county administrator. A county executive, county manager or county mayor is the head of the executive branch of government in a United States county. The executive may be an elected or an appointed position. The Town of Middleton is a town in Dane County, Wisconsin, United States. The Town of Middleton borders the City of Middleton on the west. The population was 6,792 at the 2020 census. The unincorporated communities of Middleton Junction and West Middleton are located in the town.
