George Openjuru
George Ladaah Openjuru, also George Ladaah Openjuru, is a Ugandan educator, academic and academic administrator, who serves as the Vice Chancellor of Gulu University, a public university in the Northern Region of Uganda, since 13 January 2018. Background and education Openjuru was born in the Northern Region of Uganda. After attending local primary and secondary schools, he was admitted to Makerere University, the oldest university in East Africa. He holds a Bachelor of Arts with Education and a Master of Education, both awarded by Makerere University, in Uganda. His third degree is a Master of Education in Adult Education awarded by the University of KwaZulu-Natal, in South Africa.
