George Oakley (footballer)
George Oakley (born 18 November 1995) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for Scottish Championship club Greenock Morton. Playing career AFC Wimbledon Oakley joined AFC Wimbledon at the age of eleven, and progressed through the youth ranks. On 15 February 2014, he was named as a substitute in a 1–0 league defeat at Portsmouth. He signed a professional contract in May 2014, and scored just days later in the 2014 London Senior Cup final win over Metropolitan Police. Oakley was ruled out of the opening two months of the 2014–15 season with a hamstring injury. On 7 October 2014, he marked his return in a 4–0 defeat to Charlton Athletic in the U21 Premier League Cup. On 1 November 2014, he made his Football League debut as a late substitute in a 2–0 loss at Northampton Town. Tooting
Tooting is a district in South London, forming part of the London Borough of Wandsworth and partly in the London Borough of Merton. It is located south south-west of Charing Cross. History Tooting has been settled since pre- Saxon times. The name is of Anglo-Saxon origin but the meaning is disputed. It could mean ''the people of Tota'', in which context Tota may have been a local Anglo-Saxon chieftain. Alternatively it could be derived from an old meaning of the verb ''to tout'', to look out. The English Football League Trophy, known for sponsorship purposes as the Papa Johns Trophy after restaurant chain Papa John's Pizza, is an annual English association football knockout competition open to all clubs in EFL League One and EFL League Two, with the addition of 16 under-21 teams from Premier League and EFL Championship clubs since the 2016–17 season. 2015–16 AFC Wimbledon Season
The 2015–16 season was AFC Wimbledon's 14th season in their history and 5th consecutive season in League Two. Despite getting the season off to a mediocre start, good spells of form in the latter half of the season ensured that ''The Dons'' would confirm their highest ever League Two finish with 7th place and qualification to the 2016 Football League play-offs. Leatherhead F
Leatherhead is a town in the Mole Valley District of Surrey, England, about south of Central London. The settlement grew up beside a ford on the River Mole, from which its name is thought to derive. During the late Anglo-Saxon period, Leatherhead was a royal vill and is first mentioned in the will of Alfred the Great in 880 AD. The first bridge across the Mole may have been constructed in around 1200 and this may have coincided with the expansion of the town and the enlargement of the parish church. For much of its history, Leatherhead was primarily an agricultural settlement, with a weekly market being held until the mid-Elizabethan era. The Football Association Challenge Trophy, commonly known as the FA Trophy, is a men's football knockout cup competition run by and named after the English Football Association and competed for primarily by semi-professional teams. The competition was instigated in 1969 to cater to those non-league clubs that paid their players and were therefore not eligible to enter the FA Amateur Cup. Eligibility rules have changed over time, but from 2008 onwards the competition has been open to clubs playing in Steps 1–4 of the National League System, equivalent to tiers 5–8 of the overall English football league system. The Premier League Cup is an English football competition run by the Premier League for under–21 sides.
