Williams & Kettle
Williams & Kettle Limited with headquarters in Napier, New Zealand, owned a stock and station agency business and a general merchants business with branches throughout the east coast of the North Island of New Zealand. Incorporated as a co-operative in 1891, it had been founded in 1885 by landowner and businessman Frederic Williams (1854–1940) with Nathaniel Kettle (1854–1940), a brother-in-law of John Roberts the local principal of Dunedin's Murray Roberts and a former Murray Roberts & Co employee. Establishment Williams had set himself up in his own custom house agency in 1880 after forming a good relationship with William Nelson and becoming agent for his new Nelson Brothers' boiling down and canned-meat plant which Nelson was establishing at Tomoana just north of Hastings in conjunction with Frederic's uncle, J N Williams. Hampton Wick
Hampton Wick, formerly a village, is a Thames-side area of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, and is contiguous with Teddington and Kingston upon Thames. It is buffered by Bushy Park, one of the Royal Parks of London from Hampton and Hampton Hill. Economically much involved in market gardens until well into the twentieth century, with its motor and rail connections to London, and such business areas as the M4 corridor, its population is a mixture of commuters well within the London commuter belt. Its developed area is confined by Bushy Park and Hampton Court Park to its west, and the River Thames to its east. Middlesex (; abbreviation: Middx) is a Historic counties of England, historic county in South East England, southeast England. Its area is almost entirely within the wider urbanised area of London and mostly within the Ceremonial counties of England, ceremonial county of Greater London, with small sections in neighbouring ceremonial counties. John Davies Ormond
John Davies Ormond (31 May 1831 – 6 October 1917) was a New Zealand politician whose positions included Superintendent (politics), Superintendent of Hawke's Bay Province, Minister of Public Works and member of the New Zealand Legislative Council. He represented the Clive (New Zealand electorate), Clive electorate in Parliament from 1860–1861 New Zealand general election, 1861 to 1881, when he was defeated (standing for the electorate of Waipawa (New Zealand electorate), Waipawa). He then represented the Napier (New Zealand electorate), Napier electorate from to 1890, when he retired. He was appointed to the New Zealand Legislative Council, Legislative Council on 20 January 1891 and served until his death on 6 October 1917.
