Geoffrey Brissaud
Geoffrey Brissaud (born 23 March 1998) is a French ice dancer. With his skating partner, Evgeniia Lopareva, he is a two-time French Figure Skating Championships, French national champion, a three-time ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, Grand Prix bronze medalist, the 2023 CS Warsaw Cup champion, a two-time ISU Challenger Series silver medalist, and a two-time International Challenge Cup champion (2021 and 2023 International Challenge Cup, 2023). Earlier in their career they finished in the top ten at the 2019 World Junior Figure Skating Championships, 2019 World Junior Championships. With his former skating partner, Sarah-Marine Rouffanche, Brissaud competed at the 2015 World Junior Figure Skating Championships, 2015 World Junior Championships in Tallinn, Estonia. Guillaume Cizeron (born 12 November 1994) is a French ice dancer. With his partner, Gabriella Papadakis, he is the 2022 Olympic champion, the 2018 Olympic silver medalist, a five-time World champion ( 2015–2016, 2018–2019, 2022), a five-time consecutive European champion (2015–2019), the 2017 and 2019 Grand Prix Final champion, and a seven-time French national champion (2015–2020, 2022). International Challenge Cup
The International Challenge Cup (formerly the Ennia Challenge Cup and the Aegon Cup) is an annual figure skating competition generally held during the last week in February, up till the 2021 edition held in The Hague, Netherlands. Since the 2022 edition a three year contract has been signed with the city of Tilburg to host the event from the IJssportcentrum Tilburg with practice being organised on the neighbouring Ireen Wüst Ice Rink. ISU Challenger Series
The ISU Challenger Series is a series of international figure skating competitions. Established by the International Skating Union in the 2014–15 season, it is a group of senior-level events ranked below the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Each event consists of at least three disciplines out of four ( men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing), and is required to take place between August 1 and December 15. Ice dance (sometimes referred to as ice dancing) is a discipline of figure skating that historically draws from ballroom dancing. It joined the World Figure Skating Championships in 1952, and became a Winter Olympic Games medal sport in 1976. According to the International Skating Union (ISU), the governing body of figure skating, an ice dance team consists of one woman and one man. Ice dance, like pair skating, has its roots in the "combined skating" developed in the 19th century by skating clubs and organizations and in recreational social skating. The 2023 ISU World Team Trophy is an international figure skating competition that was held from April 13–16, 2023 in Tokyo, Japan. The top six International Skating Union members were invited to compete in a team format with points awarded based on skaters' placement. Participating countries selected two men's single skaters, two women' single skaters, one pair, and one ice dance entry for their team.
