Geobreeders
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Akihiro Ito. It was serialized in Shōnen Gahōsha's ''seinen'' manga magazine '' Young King OURs'' from 1993 to 2009, before entering on hiatus. Its chapters were collected in sixteen ''tankōbon'' volumes. A three-episode original video animation (OVA) adaptation, subtitled ''Get Back the Kitty'', was released in 1998, followed by another OVA, subtitled ''Breakthrough'', released from 2000 to 2001. In North America, the manga and the OVAs were formerly licensed by Central Park Media. Plot Ayagane City has a phantom cat (also called "bake neko" and "were-cat") problem. A young and overzealous group of entrepreneurs called Kagura Total Security can be hired to combat this problem for the right price when Hound, the official government arm, isn't enough. Akihiro Ito
is a Japanese manga artist born in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. He is known for his work on the manga series ''Geobreeders'', serialized in the monthly manga magazine ''Young King Ours''. Ito also worked on a second manga series, ''Wilderness (manga), Wilderness'', which was serialized in ''Sunday GX''. Both titles have been on hiatus since 2009 when Itou reportedly stopped working due to an undisclosed illness. Currently, there are only 7 volumes available in the ''Wilderness'' series, and 16 volumes for ''Geobreeders''. Itou did attempt to start ''Geobreeders'' Part 3, with the first three chapters appearing in ''Young King Ours'' between June and August. Shigeru Kitayama
is a Japanese anime producer. Some of his major works include Yasuhiro Nightow's ''Trigun'' television series as well as Nightow's other series ''Gungrave''. He has worked on Shinichi Watanabe's adaptation of ''Excel Saga'' and the ''Geobreeders'' OVA series. Yuji Moriyama
is an anime character designer, animator, animation supervisor and director. He is a member of the Japanese Animation Creators Association and a winner of the 4th Japan Animation Awards in the Animation Director category. Career Moriyama started helping out with in-between animation when he was a student at Kanto Daiichi High School. After graduating from high school, he joined Studio Musashi, which was recruiting staff through newspaper ads. Aya Hisakawa
is a Japanese voice actress and singer. In addition to releasing various solo CDs, Hisakawa is well known for her voice roles in anime and video games. Yōsuke Kuroda
is a Japanese anime screenwriter from Mie Prefecture, Japan. He has his own studio enterprise, Studio Orphee.
