Gentleness
Gentleness is a personal quality which can be part of one's character. It consists in kindness, consideration and amiability. Aristotle used it in a technical sense as the virtue that strikes the mean with regard to anger: being too quick to anger is a vice, but so is being detached in a situation where anger is appropriate; justified and properly focused anger is named mildness or gentleness. Johnny Gentle
John Askew (born 8 December 1936), known as Johnny Gentle, is a British pop singer best remembered for having briefly toured Scotland with the Silver Beetles (later known as the Beatles) as his backing group in 1960. Life and career John Askew was born and grew up in Liverpool. After leaving school he was apprenticed as a carpenter, and, using a borrowed book for instructions, made his own guitar. He teamed up with Bobby Crawford and the pair began performing at local clubs, singing Everly Brothers songs, before Askew took a job working on a luxury ocean liner. On his return, he entered talent competitions as a solo singer, and changed his stage name, first to George Baker and then to Ricky Damone. He moved to London and worked on a building site, before winning a talent competition at the Locarno Ballroom in Streatham. Peter Gentle
Peter Gentle (born ) is an Australian rugby league coach and former footballer who played in the 1980s. Gentle is currently the Assistant Coach at the St. George Illawarra Dragons. Club career A halfback and St. George junior, Gentle played three games of first grade for St. George Dragons over two seasons between 1987–1988, featuring mostly in the lower grades. Prior to that, he had played for Mansfield Marksman in the Rugby Football League in England during the 1986–87 season. He is the son of former Western Suburbs Magpies and Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs coach, Ken Gentle. Coaching career Gentle captain-coached the Camden Rams to consecutive Group 6 Rugby League first grade premierships in 1997 and 1998. Mensur Suljović
Mensur Suljović (Serbian Cyrillic: Менсур Суљовић; born 5 March 1972) is an Austrian professional darts player. He plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, having previously played in the British Darts Organisation (BDO). Nicknamed The Gentle, Suljović is noted for his unorthodox throwing action and favouring double 14 as his finishing double where possible. Suljović is the number one Austrian player in the PDC and reached his first major final in 2016 at the European Championship. He went one step further in winning his first major TV title at the 2017 Champions League of Darts, defeating two-times world champion Gary Anderson on two occasions. Gentle (Nezhno Abidemi) is a mutant fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character has been depicted as a member of the student body of the Xavier Institute. Fictional character biography Xavier Institute/M-Day Prior to M-Day, he was part of Storm's unseen squad. He kept his powers in the wake of M-Day, and thus still resides at the Xavier Institute.
