Geno Crandall
Geno Crandall is an American basketball player who plays for Israeli club Hapoel Be'er Sheva in the Israeli Basketball Premier League. Crandall spent four seasons playing basketball at the University of North Dakota before transferring to Gonzaga University as a redshirt senior. As a professional, Crandall was named MVP of the British Basketball League twice, back-to-back in 2021 and 2022, before moving to BG Göttingen ahead of the 2022-23 season. Early life Crandall played high school basketball at DeLaSalle in his hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota. While there he was part of three straight state championship winning teams. 2018–19 Gonzaga Bulldogs Men's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 Gonzaga Bulldogs men's basketball team (also informally referred to as the Zags) represented Gonzaga University, located in Spokane, Washington. in the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team was led by head coach Mark Few, in his 20th season as head coach. This was the Bulldogs' 15th season at the on-campus McCarthey Athletic Center and 39th season as a member of the West Coast Conference. They finished the season 33-4, 16-0 to finish in 1st place. In the WCC Tournament, they defeated Pepperdine in the semifinals before losing in the championship game to Saint Mary’s. Redshirt, in United States college athletics, is a delay or suspension of an athlete's participation in order to lengthen their period of eligibility. Typically, a student's athletic eligibility in a given sport is four seasons, aligning with the four years of academic classes typically required to earn a bachelor's degree at an American college or university. However, in a redshirt year, student athletes may attend classes at the college or university, practice with an athletic team, and "suit up" (wear a team uniform) for play – but they may compete in only a limited number of games (see " Use of status" section). Maui Invitational
The Maui Invitational, currently known as the Maui Jim Maui Invitational, is an annual early-season college basketball tournament that takes place Thanksgiving week, normally in Lahaina, Hawaii, at the Lahaina Civic Center on the island of Maui. It is hosted by Chaminade University of Honolulu, an NCAA Division II school. Eight NCAA Division I men's basketball teams are invited to Maui to complete the field. The Maui Invitational has been played since 1984 and is carried by ESPN. Camping World became the title sponsor for the 2020 Tournament only. Zachary Norvell Jr. (born December 9, 1997) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA G League.
