''Generasian'' is the fourth extended play by South Korean singer Lim Kim. Released on October 15, 2019 by Universal Music Korea and Lim Company, the extended play is Kim's first independent release since ''Simple Mind'' (2015), and subsequently her first since she left Mystic Entertainment in 2016. A dominant electronica record with worldbeat incorporation, ''Generasian'' finds Kim "exploring and centering" her identity as an Asian woman, further growing away from her previous musical direction. Preceded by a non-album single "SAL-KI" on May 24, 2019, the extended play spawned two singles, "Yellow" on October 15, and "Mong" on February 28, 2020. Lim Kim
Lim Kim (born Kim Ye-rim; on January 21, 1994) is a South Korean singer and a member of the band Togeworl with Do Dae-yoon. She competed in the '' Superstar K3'' singing competition as a member of Togeworl, placing third. In 2013, Kim debuted as a solo singer, and is known for the song "All Right." She left Mystic Entertainment after her contract ended in 2016. Biography Kim was born in South Korea. For high school, she decided to go overseas, and attended Leonia High School in New Jersey. While attending high school in 2011, she heard about the New York City auditions for the South Korean singing competition '' Superstar K3''. She asked a fellow Korean student Do Dae-yoon, who was known as a great guitarist at the school, to audition together, even though she did not know him well. Jannabi (; stylized in all caps or JANNABI) is a South Korean indie rock band that was formed in 2012 and debuted in 2014 under the independent record label Peponi Music, whose core membership consisted of vocalist Choi Jung-hoon and guitarist Kim Do-hyung.
