General Trias Drive
National Route 401 (N401) forms part of the Philippine highway network. It connects the municipalities of Noveleta to the city of General Trias through the municipality of Rosario, Cavite, Rosario. Route description N401 covers the Noveleta to General Trias segment of what is called by DPWH as the Noveleta–Naic–Tagaytay Road. Tejeros Convention
The Tejeros Convention, also known as the Tejeros Assembly and the Tejeros Congress, was a meeting held on March 22, 1897, between Katipunan factions of Magdiwang and Magdalo in San Francisco de Malabon, Cavite (now General Trias) that resulted in the creation of a new revolutionary government that took charge of the Philippine Revolution, replacing the Katipunan. It followed on a previous meeting now known as the Imus Assembly. Filipino historians consider the first presidential and vice presidential elections in Philippine history to have been held at this convention, although only Katipuneros (members of the Katipunan) were able to take part, and not the general populace. Cavite Economic Zone
The Cavite Economic Zone or Cavite Export Processing Zone (CEPZ) comprises of land encompassing the town of Rosario and the city of General Trias in the province of Cavite. It is located south of Manila. CEPZ was developed in five phases. Creation The Cavite Export Processing Zone was created by virtue of Presidential Proclamation Nos. 1980 and 2017 issued on May 30 and September 19, 1980 respectively. It later evolved into the Cavite Economic Zone when former Philippine President Fidel V. Ramos signed into law the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995 on February 24, 1995. SM City Rosario is a shopping mall which was developed and is owned by SM Prime Holdings. It opened on November 20, 2009 and is the fourth SM Supermall in the province of Cavite, Philippines. Noveleta
Noveleta, officially the Municipality of Noveleta ( tgl, Bayan ng Noveleta), formerly known as Tierra Alta during the Spanish colonial era, is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Cavite, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 49,452 people. With the continuous expansion of Metro Manila, the municipality is now included in the Manila built-up area which reaches Lipa City in its southernmost part. History Noveleta was originally a barrio of the municipality of Kawit (Cavite El Viejo) and some part of Cavite City (Dalahican). It was made an independent pueblo on January 5, 1868, by Gen.
