Q Christian Fellowship
The Q Christian Fellowship (QCF) is an ecumenical Christianity, Christian Christian ministry, ministry focused on serving lesbian, bisexual, gay, transgender, queer, and straight ally Christians. It was founded in 2001 as the Gay Christian Network (GCN) by Justin Lee (activist), Justin Lee and is currently administered from Denver, Colorado. It was re-branded in 2018 to better reflect the diversity of the ministry and community they serve. According to the re-branding documents, the 'Q' doesn't correlate to any particular word. Instead, it is just the letter 'Q' open for interpretation. ''Gay Community News'' (GCN) is Ireland's longest-running free LGBTQ+ publication and press; it is based in Dublin, and founded in 1988. It has been referred to as the "paper of record" for the Irish LGBTQ+ community. History In the late 1980s, activists Tonie Walsh and Catherine Glendon sought to establish a free LGBTQ+ publication. The National Gay Federation (now National LGBT Federation) had previously published two unsuccessful LGBTQ+ periodicals, but agreed to establish an LGBTQ+ newspaper. Graphics Core Next (GCN) is the codename for a series of microarchitectures and an instruction set architecture that were developed by AMD for its GPUs as the successor to its TeraScale microarchitecture. The first product featuring GCN was launched on January 9, 2012. GCN is a reduced instruction set SIMD microarchitecture contrasting the very long instruction word SIMD architecture of TeraScale. GCN requires considerably more transistors than TeraScale, but offers advantages for general-purpose GPU (GPGPU) computation due to a simpler compiler. Alanine (symbol Ala or A), or α-alanine, is an α-amino acid that is used in the biosynthesis of proteins. It contains an amine group and a carboxylic acid group, both attached to the central carbon atom which also carries a methyl group side chain. It plays a key role in modulating amino acid metabolism as a response to nutrient deprivation.
