Gaygalan Awards
Established by Swedish magazine QX in 1999, the Gaygalan Awards are an annual event created to hand out prizes for LGBT achievements. QX (magazine)
''QX'' started in 1995 with the aim to create communication platforms for the LGBT-community in Sweden and Scandinavia. It is published in Swedish language, Swedish monthly by QX Förlag AB and is the largest magazine of its kind in the region. ''QX GayMap Stockholm'' is a printed summer guide in English to the Stockholm gay scene. The printed map has a distribution of 40,000 copies. ''QX'' Events ''QX'' arranges the yearly award-ceremony Gaygalan Awards, handing out prizes for LGBT-achievements since 1999. In 2004, the gala was broadcast for the first time on Sveriges Television when it was held at Hamburger Börs, Stockholm, Hamburger Börs with Annika Lantz as the host. QX also currently rules the franchise of ''Mr Gay Sweden'' and has a sponsorship with the Stockholm Pride, Stockholm Pride Agency. Eva Dahlgren
Eva Charlotte Dahlgren (; born 9 June 1960) is a Swedish pop musician and singer-songwriter. Career Dahlgren was discovered by musician/producer Bruno Glenmark in 1978 after appearing on the TV show ''Sveriges magasin'' and her debut album ''Finns det nån som bryr sej om'' was released the same year. In 1979 she placed third in Melodifestivalen (the tryout competition for the Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden). She toured Sweden in 1987 with Swedish pop duo Roxette, a tour that was attended by more than 100,000 people. Dahlgren's career grew steadily with several album releases during the 1980s but her definite breakthrough in Sweden came in 1991 with '' En blekt blondins hjärta'', her most successful album, which sold over half a million copies and won her five Grammis awards. Björn Helge Andreas Lundstedt (born 20 May 1972) is a Swedish singer, best known as a member of the pop-dance group Alcazar. Biography Born in Uppsala, Sweden, since childhood, Lundstedt had wanted to be a singer. At the age of five, he took part in a talent competition for children and achieved second place. By the age of fifteen, he appeared regularly on television and in shows as a member of the band . Efva Katarina Attling, (born on 18 February 1952) is a Swedish silversmith and Jewelry designer, jewellery designer. Early career In the early 1980s she played in the band "X Models" and released the hit single ''Två av oss'' ("Two of us"). She worked as a professional model for twelve years after being spotted by Eileen Ford. She was also noted for being one of Sweden's best professional disco dancers. Silversmith and jewellery designer Attling designed for Levi's and H&M and in the mid-1990s she started her own line of jewellery. Liza Marklund
Eva Elisabeth "Liza" Marklund (born 9 September 1962) is a Swedish journalist and crime writer. Her novels, of which most feature the fictional newspaper journalist Annika Bengtzon, have been published in forty languages. John Björn Sture Kjellman (born 4 June 1963), is a Swedish actor and singer. Kjellman was born in Östra Grevie, Scania. He played roles in Swedish movies like ''Klassfesten'' and '' Livet är en schlager'', in which he plays a Melodifestivalen-obsessed transvestite who is brother to Helena Bergström's character, who takes part in the Swedish Melodifestivalen in the movie. ''Dagens Nyheter'' (, ), abbreviated ''DN'', is a daily newspaper in Sweden. It is published in Stockholm and aspires to full national and international coverage, and is widely considered Sweden's newspaper of record. History and profile ''Dagens Nyheter'' was founded by Rudolf Wall in December 1864. The first issue was published on 23 December 1864. During its initial period the paper was published in the morning. In 1874 the paper became a joint stock company. Its circulation in 1880 was 15,000 copies. In the 1890s, Wall left ''Dagens Nyheter'' and soon after, the paper became the organ of the Liberal Party. From 1946 to 1959, Herbert Tingsten was the executive editor. The newspaper is owned by the Bonnier Group since 1909, when Karl Otto Bonnier acquired the remaining shares that his family had not owned (his father Albert had already acquired some shares since 1888).

Österlånggatan () is a street in Gamla stan, the old town of Stockholm, Sweden. Stretching southward from Slottsbacken to Järntorget, it forms a parallel street to Baggensgatan and Skeppsbron. Sveavägen is a major street in Stockholm, Sweden. Sveavägen originates at Sergels torg in the city district of Norrmalm, and goes north through the Vasastan district toward the border to Solna Municipality and the Haga Park. It is often known as the busiest road in Sweden.
