Efva Attling
Efva Katarina Attling, (born on 18 February 1952) is a Swedish silversmith and Jewelry designer, jewellery designer. Early career In the early 1980s she played in the band "X Models" and released the hit single ''Två av oss'' ("Two of us"). She worked as a professional model for twelve years after being spotted by Eileen Ford. She was also noted for being one of Sweden's best professional disco dancers. Silversmith and jewellery designer Attling designed for Levi's and H&M and in the mid-1990s she started her own line of jewellery. Her pendant "Homo Sapiens" was worn by Madonna (entertainer), Madonna in 1999, and Meryl Streep is also known to wear her jewellery. She has stores in Sweden, Norway, Finland and New York City, New York. The estimated turnover for her company was SEK 100 million in 2011. Stockholm Pride
Stockholm Pride (styled as STHLM Pride) is an annual gay pride festival held in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. Since the start in 1998, Stockholm Pride has grown. In 2014, some 60,000 participated and 600,000 followed the parade at the streets. The celebrations normally starts with lectures and exhibitions all over the city on the Monday. Pride House is the festival's cultural centre. It is packed with seminars, debates, workshops, exhibitions, film, theatre and other performances. On the Wednesday it's the grand opening of the closed off Pride Park which is the festival arena for tens of thousands of people, and in the park organisation stalls, stages, restaurants, shops, and other attractions are built.
