Gauhar Ali
Gauhar Ali (born 5 May 1989) is a Pakistani cricketer who plays for Peshawar. He made 145 not out in the final of the 2016–17 Regional One Day Cup and was jointly named man of the match along with Iftikhar Ahmed. In April 2018, he was named in Sindh's squad for the 2018 Pakistan Cup. Nowshera District ( ps, نوښار ولسوالۍ, ur, ) is a district in Peshawar Division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan. The capital and district headquarter is Nowshera city. Overview and history Nowshera was a tehsil (sub division) of Peshawar until 1988, when it became a district. It is bordered by Peshawar District to the West, Mardan District to the North, Charsadda District to the North West, Swabi District to the North East, Kohat District to the South, Orakzai Agency to the South West & Attock District to the East. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. Peshawar Cricket Team
The Peshawar cricket team was a Pakistani first-class cricket team from Peshawar. The team's home ground was Arbab Niaz Stadium in Peshawar. The List A and Twenty20 side was known as the Peshawar Panthers. Peshawar first played in first-class competitions in 1956-57, and they have competed in most seasons since then, except for a hiatus between 1977-78 and 1983-84. Apart from a few matches played by North-West Frontier Province in the 1970s, Peshawar were usually the only first-class team from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province (formerly known as North-West Frontier Province) until the debut of Abbottabad in 2005-06. Peshawar won the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy in 1998-99 and 2004-05 and the ABN-AMRO Cup National One-day Championship in 2006-07. They also won the 2011-12 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Division Two. In cricket, a batter is not out if they come out to bat in an innings and have not been dismissed by the end of an innings. The batter is also ''not out'' while their innings is still in progress. Iftikhar Ahmed (Urdu & ps, افتخار احمد; born 3 September 1990) is a Pakistani international cricketer. He is in playing-eleven in T20 format of Pakistan National Cricket Team. In Pakistan Super League, he has previously played for Karachi Kings, Islamabad United and now is in Quetta Gladiators. He made his international debut for the Pakistan cricket team in November 2015. He was born in Peshawar, Pakistan into a Pashtun family. Sindh cricket team is a domestic cricket team in Pakistan representing Sindh province. It competes in domestic first-class, List A and T20 cricket competitions, namely the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, Pakistan Cup and National T20 Cup. The team is operated by the Sindh Cricket Association. 2018 Pakistan Cup
The 2018 Pakistan Cup was the third edition of the Pakistan Cup, a List A cricket competition which was contested between five teams. It was held from 25 April to 6 May 2018, with all the matches played at the Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad. Federal Areas were the defending champions. Federal Areas were the first team to advance to the final, after they beat Punjab by 7 wickets. They were joined in the final with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, after the last group stage match, between Punjab and Sindh, finished as a tie. 2018–19 Quaid-e-Azam One Day Cup
The 2018–19 Quaid-e-Azam One Day Cup was the first edition of the Quaid-e-Azam One Day Cup, a List A cricket tournament that took place in Pakistan from 6 September to 4 November 2018. Each match was played after the conclusion of the corresponding first-class fixture in the 2018–19 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. Following the conclusion of the group stage, National Bank of Pakistan, Khan Research Laboratories, Habib Bank Limited and Islamabad from Pool A along with Sui Southern Gas Corporation, Pakistan Television, Water and Power Development Authority and Multan from Pool B had all qualified for the quarter-finals.
