Gasoducto del Noreste Argentino (also known as the Argentine Northwest Gas Pipeline and GNEA pipeline) is a proposed long natural gas pipeline to transport natural gas from Bolivia to Argentina. History The pipeline project was announced in 2003. The agreement between Bolivia and Argentina to build the pipeline was signed on 26 March 2007. Technical features The length of the pipeline is and the capacity will be 10 billion cubic meter (bcm) of natural gas per annum. Construction The pipeline would be built by Techint. The construction is expected to start in July 2008. Pipes for the pipeline would be provided by Siat or Tubacero. The pipeline is expected to be commissioned by January 2010 and it is expected to cost US$1.8 billion. The GasAndes Pipeline is a long natural gas pipeline from La Mora, Mendoza in Argentina to San Bernardo on the outskirts of Santiago, Chile. History In 1991, Argentina and Chile concluded the Gas Interconnection Protocol. For the implementation of this protocol several pipeline projects were proposed. The GasAndes Pipeline project was proposed by the consortium of NOVA Corporation of Canada, Chilean companies Gasco and Gener, and Argentine companies Compañía General de Combustibles and Techint Compañía Ténica Internacional. The feasibility study of the pipeline was concluded in 1994. The pipeline was commissioned in 1997. The Yabog (Yacimientos-Bolivian Gulf) pipeline is a natural gas pipeline. It is long and connects Río Grande in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, with Campo Duran in Salta Province, Argentina.
