Gary Riley
Gary Riley (born April 28, 1967) is a former child and teen American character actor with numerous film, made-for-TV films and television credits. Film and television career Riley played Charlie Hogan, one of his best-known roles, in the 1986 film '' Stand by Me'', and also received notice for his portrayal of Dave Frazier in the 1987 comedy '' Summer School''. He made notable appearances as a thief who steals money from Steve Martin's character's wallet in '' Planes, Trains, and Automobiles'' and as a naive metalhead customer whom Ken Kessler (portrayed by Judge Reinhold) cannot bear to rip off after discovering his girlfriend is pregnant in ''Ruthless People''. New Beverly Cinema
The New Beverly Cinema is a historic movie theater located in Los Angeles, California. Housed in a building that dates back to the 1920s, it is one of the oldest revival houses in the region. Since 2007, it has been owned by filmmaker Quentin Tarantino. History The 300-seat New Beverly Cinema was designed by architects John P. Edwards and Warren Frazier Overpeck and opened in 1929, apparently as a candy store. Over the years, its name and purpose has changed several times. Guy Anthony Hutchinson (born November 22, 1974) is an American author, broadcaster, theme park historian and comedian. Published works Hutchinson (with Chris Mercaldo) wrote the book ''Sesame Place'' which was published by Arcadia Publishing. The book was made with the cooperation of Sesame Place and Sesame Workshop and tells the 35-year history of the Pennsylvania theme park in photos and text. Hutchinson had begun researching the history of Sesame Place by "watching other people's home movies on YouTube, sifting through Flickr photos, eBay auctions, and digging through old newspapers on Google," when he was contacted by Mercaldo about pitching the book to Arcadia Publishing. Phil Lesh and Friends is an American rock band formed and led by Phil Lesh, former bassist of the Grateful Dead. Phil & Friends is not a traditional group in that several different lineups of musicians have played under the name, including groups featuring members of Phish, the Black Crowes, and the Allman Brothers Band. Music The Phil & Friends concept takes the music of the Grateful Dead (and an ever-increasing number of other influences, including Bob Dylan, Traffic, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Warren Haynes' band Gov't Mule, the Allman Brothers Band, etc.) and explores and interprets it in new ways.
