Gary McCutcheon
Gary McCutcheon (born Dumfries, 8 October 1978) is a Scottish professional footballer who retired in 2015. He is also Reserve Team Manager at Stranraer. He began his career at Kilmarnock where he had spells on loan at Stenhousemuir and Clydebank. He joined Larne in the Irish League in 2006. He has played in Northern Ireland ever since, moving to Portadown in 2007, Ballymena United in 2010 and Crusaders in 2012. While at Portadown, he won the Irish League Cup in 2008–09. He was named Ulster Footballer of the Year for 2011–12. McCutcheon scored his first goal for Crusaders on 27 August 2012, a penalty against Glebe Rangers in the League Cup. He scored his first league goal, also a penalty, in a 2–1 victory over Linfield at Windsor Park Windsor Park is a football stadium in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Dumfries
Dumfries ( ; sco, Dumfries; from gd, Dùn Phris ) is a market town and former royal burgh within the Dumfries and Galloway council area of Scotland. It is located near the mouth of the River Nith into the Solway Firth about by road from the Anglo-Scottish border and just away from Cumbria by air. The Northern Ireland Football League Cup (BetMcLean League Cup for sponsorship purposes), also known colloquially as the Irish League Cup, is a national football knock-out cup competition in Northern Ireland open to all member clubs of the Northern Ireland Football League. It is the third-most prestigious competition in domestic Northern Irish football after the NIFL Premiership and Irish Cup. It should not be confused with the Irish League Floodlit Cup which ran from 1987–88 to 1997–98. Unlike the Irish Cup, the League Cup does not have a berth for UEFA Europa Conference League qualification. The Ulster Footballer of the Year is the older of two association football player of the year awards in Northern Ireland. (The other is the Northern Ireland Football Writers' Association award.)
