Gareth Bradshaw
Gareth Bradshaw (born 13 February 1987) is a Gaelic footballer from Galway that played from 2007 to 2021. Bradshaw plays his club football with Moycullen. In the Galway panel, he has played in numerous positions, including corner back, wing back, midfield, and centre half back. Clubs such as St. Kilda offered him a contract. But he chose to continue to play for the Galway set-up for the 2010 season. Moycullen GAA
Moycullen GAA ( ga, CLG Maigh Cuilinn) is a group title for several Gaelic Athletic Association clubs based in Moycullen, County Galway. The three clubs, Cumann Peile Mhaigh Cuilinn (Moycullen Football Club), Cumann Iománaíocht Maigh Cuilinn (Moycullen Hurling Club) and Cumann Camógaíocht Mhaigh Cuilinn (Moycullen Camogie Club) share playing facilities and cooperate on a number of the local community and sporting issues. The clubs are members of the Galway GAA. There are two other clubs in the parish with indirect GAA affiliations, Moycullen Ladies Football Club and Moycullen Handball Club, who also share the club facilities. The Galway county football team ( ) represents Galway in men's Gaelic football and is governed by Galway GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. The team competes in the three major annual inter-county competitions; the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, the Connacht Senior Football Championship and the National Football League. Gaelic football ( ga, Peil Ghaelach; short name '), commonly known as simply Gaelic, GAA or Football is an Irish team sport. It is played between two teams of 15 players on a rectangular grass pitch. The objective of the sport is to score by kicking or punching the ball into the other team's goals (3 points) or between two upright posts above the goals and over a crossbar above the ground (1 point). Players advance the football up the field with a combination of carrying, bouncing, kicking, hand-passing, and soloing (dropping the ball and then toe-kicking the ball upward into the hands). Moycullen ( ga, Maigh Cuilinn) is a Gaeltacht village in County Galway, Ireland, about 10 km (7 mi) northwest of Galway city. It is near Lough Corrib, on the N59 road to Oughterard and Clifden, in Connemara. Moycullen is now a satellite town of Galway with some residents commuting to the city for work, school, and business.
