Gangajamuna Gaupalika
Gangajamuna (Nepali language, Nepali: गंगाजमुना; ''gangajamuna'') is a Gaupalika(Nepali language, Nepali: गाउपालिका ; ''gaupalika'') Formerly: Village development committee (Nepal), village development committee) in Dhading District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. The local body was formed by merging five Village development committee (Nepal), VDCs namely Rigaun, Gumdi, Phulkharka, Baseri and Budhathum. Currently, it has a total of 7 wards, larger VDCS Gumdi, and Rigaun are divided in 2 wards each whereas other VDCs are divided into only one ward. The population of the rural municipality is 21,784 according to the data collected on 2017 Nepalese local elections. 2017 Nepalese Local Elections
The 2017 Nepalese local elections were held in Nepal in three phases on 14 May, 28 June and 18 September in 6 metropolitan cities, 11 sub-metropolitan cities, 276 municipalities and 460 rural municipalities. It was the first local level election to be held since the promulgation of the 2015 constitution. Baseri
Baseri is a village in Dhading District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 6264 and had 1196 houses in it. It is 60 kilometers away from the district headquarter Dhadingbesi. The main occupation of the people here is agriculture. The people of the village are Brahmin and Chhetri in the lower part and Ghale and Gurung in the upper part.
