Ghanshyampur (Vidhan Sabha Constituency)
Ghanshyampur Assembly constituency was an assembly constituency in Darbhanga district in the Indian state of Bihar. As a consequence of the orders of the Delimitation Commission of India, Ghanshyampur Assembly constituency ceased to exist in 2010. It was part of Darbhanga (Lok Sabha constituency). There is a Mahathwar village inside the Ghanshyampur Panchayat, which Mahathwar village comes under Ghanshyampur block and it is located 3 km south of the block office. It is bound on the east by the Shambhu chowk, on the north by Pali village and on the south by Chaur (or low lying agricultural land filled up by flood water) and on the west by Hari Mushari tola and Galma village.
