Galchhi ( Nepali: गल्छी; ''galchhi'') is a Gaupalika( Nepali: गाउपालिका ; ''gaupalika'') Formerly: village development committee) in Dhading District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. The local body was formed by merging three VDCs namely Baireni, Kalleri and Goganpani (Ward No. 1,2,3,9). Currently, it has a total of 8 wards. The population of the rural municipality is 27784 according to the data collected on 2017 Nepalese local elections. Thakre ( Nepali: थाक्रे; ''thakre'') is a Gaupalika( Nepali: गाउपालिका ; ''gaupalika'')(Formerly: village development committee) in Dhading District. The local body was formed by merging four VDCs namely Bhumesthan, Tasarphu, Thakre, Kebalpur and Goganpani, Bagmati (Ward No. 5,6,7,8). Currently, it has a total of 11 wards. Dhading District ( ne, धादिङ जिल्ला ), a part of Bagmati Province, is one of the seventy-seven districts of Nepal. Siddhalek
Siddhalek is a rural municipality located within the Dhading District of the Bagmati Province of Nepal. The rural municipality spans , with a total population of 23,729 according to a 2011 Nepal census. On March 10, 2017, the Government of Nepal restructured the local level bodies into 753 new local level structures. The previous Nalang, Salang, and Kumpur VDCs were merged to form Siddhalek. Siddhalek is divided into 7 wards, with Salang declared the administrative center of the rural municipality. Gajuri( Nepali: गजुरी ; ''gajuri'') is a Gaupalika ( Nepali: गाउपालिका ; ''gaupalika'') (Formerly: village development committee) in Dhading District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. Nuwakot District
Nuwakot District ( ne, नुवाकोट जिल्ला, a part of Bagmati Province, is one of the seventy-seven districts of Nepal. The district, with Bidur as its district headquarters, covers an area of and had a population of 288,478 in 2001 and 277,471 in 2011. It is a historically important district in Nepal. Prithvi Narayan Shah died in Devighat of Nuwakot. 2017 Nepalese Local Elections
The 2017 Nepalese local elections were held in Nepal in three phases on 14 May, 28 June and 18 September in 6 metropolitan cities, 11 sub-metropolitan cities, 276 municipalities and 460 rural municipalities. It was the first local level election to be held since the promulgation of the 2015 constitution. Background Local elections were held in 53 municipalities in February 2006 under regime of King Gyanendra but were boycotted by the major political parties and saw low voter turnout. Prior to 2006, the previous elections was held in 1997 with a mandate of five years. Elections were supposed to be held on 2002 but were delayed due to the then ongoing Nepal Civil War.
