''Gajaman'' ( si, ගජමෑන්), sometimes referred to as '' Camillus' Gajaman 3D'', is a 2023 Sri Lankan Sinhala 3D animation comedy film directed by Chanaka Perera and co-produced by John Fonseka and Chamika Jinadasa for Studio 101. The film makes the hallmark in Sri Lankan cinema industry by becoming the first ever three dimensional (3D) animation movie in Sri Lanka using motion capture technology. The two lead characters of the film was dubbed by popular dubbing artist duet, Suneth Chitrananda and Gaminda Priyaviraj. Other cast includes, Rashi Prabodha, Yureni Noshika and Sunil Perera. Background score by Ravihans Wetakepotha. Sound designing & re-recording, mixing by Nisal Gangodage. Songs composed by Anushka Udana Liyanage (Wasthi Productions), Ridma Weerawardena, Dinesh Gamage (Dinna). The motion capture cast includes Dasun Pathirana, Paboda Sandeepani and many newcomers. Camillus Perera
Kala Keerthi Camillus Perera is a Sri Lankan cartoonist. His cartoon characters like Gajaman and Siribiris have been published in various Sinhala newspapers ranging from the Sunday Observer to Sivdesa. Perera was invited to join the advisory board of John Lent's Cartoon Journal in 2002. Life and career Early life Perera was born in Negombo and was the eldest son in a family of four. He was educated at the Roman Catholic Sinhala School, Maris Stella and St. Mary's College, Negombo. Perera first dabbled in art in the lower grades. He also briefly pursued a career as a sportsman in his teens leading the Jupiter Football Association in Negombo. Cartoonist Perera began work as a cartoonist in 1966 developing characters for the Observer and "Dekkoth Pathmawathi" for Lake House's film magazine. Dasun Pathirana
Dasun Pathirana (born 26 July 1985, as දසුන් පතිරණ) inhala, is a model and an award-winning actor in Sri Lankan cinema, theater and television. He won an award at Indie Fest 2014 as best actor in a leading role. He received his first Sarasaviya award in 2018. Yureni Noshika
Yureni Noshika (born 29 January 1984) is an actress in Sri Lankan cinema and television as well as a singer and media personality. Noshika began her career winning the Miss Sri Lanka for Miss World contest and went on to commercials before making it in the television and movie industries. Early life Noshika was born in Sri Lanka as the only child in the family. Raised Christian, she studied at Methodist College in Colombo. Noshika was gaining qualifications to follow a career in law but this is currently on hold due to her acting obligations. Career Noshika won the "Models of the New Generation" pageant hosted by Derana TV in 2006, and went on to represent Sri Lanka at the Tourism World contest. Rashmini Paboda Sandeepani Pathirana, (born 16 January 1982) is a Sri Lankan cinema, theatre and television actress. Background Sandeepani is the daughter of Sri Lankan actress Geetha Kanthi Jayakody. Her aunt Rathna Lalani Jayakody and uncle Sampath Tennakoon are also well known artists in Sri Lanka. Uswatta Liyanage Ivor Sylvester Sunil Perera ( Sinhala: සුනිල් පෙරේරා; 14 September 1952 – 6 September 2021) was a Sri Lankan vocalist, guitarist, songwriter and composer. Described as one of the most influential musicians in Sri Lankan music history, Perera was the leader and the lead vocalist of The Gypsies. He was associated with Sri Lanka's baila genre, and gained the nickname "Baila Chakravarthy". Personal life Perera was born on 14 September 1952, in a family with ten siblings. The Gypsies are a Sri Lankan baila Band (rock and pop), band that performs Sinhala language, Sinhala and English language, English songs. The band was founded in the early 1970s and has since garnered a huge fan base across Sri Lanka and is one of Sri Lanka's most famous bands. They are a highly paid band in Sri Lanka, as they constantly perform at parties, dances and at many concerts.
