Gairi Pangma
Gairi Pangma (गैरी पाङमा) is a small village within Pangma in Khandbari, Municipality Ward No. 4 of Sankhuwasabha District, Province No. 1 Province No. 1 (proposed names: Kirat Autonomous State, Kirat, Limbuwan, Khambuwan Rashtriya Morcha, Nepal, Khambuwan, Mount Everest, Sagarmatha, Virata, Birat and Koshi River, Koshi) is the easternmost of the seven Provinces of Nepal, province ... of eastern Nepal. Lohorung Language
Lohorung, also spelled Lorung, Lohrung or Loharung, is a Kirati language of eastern Nepal. It has been described by George van Driem. Southern Lorung is also considered to be Southern Yamphu language. These varieties are all closely related. Geographical distribution Lohorung is spoken between the middle Arun River, China-Nepal, Arun valley and the Sabhakhola in central Sankhuwasabha District, Kosi Zone, in the villages of Pangma, Angala, Higuwa, Khorande, Bardeu, Gairiaula, Malta, Sitalpati, and Dhupu (''Ethnologue''). Sankhuwasabha District
Sankhuwasabha District ( ne, सङ्खुवासभा जिल्ला ) is one of 14 districts of Province No. 1 of eastern Nepal. The district's area is 3,480 km2 with a population of 159,203 in 2001 and 158,742 in 2011. Pangma
Pangma ाङमा/pɑːᵑmɑː/was once a village development committee and now is the fourth Khandbari Municipality Ward, in the Sankhuwasabha District, Kosi Zone, in eastern Nepal. There are four Pangmas namely, Gaireepangma (also known as Maaganwa or Masapten) the main Pangma, other Pangmas are in the west are Danda Pangma, Loke pangma and Yangkhrung Pangma. The village, having 90 percent of Lohorung Rais, speak Lohorung (their own mother tongue). Besides Lohorung, other caste includes Bramhan, Chhetri, Biswakarma, Kafley, Sarki and Damai. Khandbari is the district headquarters of Sankhuwasabha District in Province No. 1 of north-eastern Nepal. The 2011 Nepal census counted 26,301 population. Lohorung People
Lohorung are a major subgroup of Rai people and ethnic native people of eastern Nepal. The Lohorung homeland is Sankhuwasabha district in the northern part of the Arun watershed, a tributary to the Koshi. At present they are found in eight other districts of Nepal: Ilam, Jhapa, Sunsari, Morang, Dhankuta, Terhathum, Lalitpur and Kathmandu.
