Gad Tedeschi
Gad Tedeschi (Hebrew: גד טדסקי; Italian: Guido Tedeschi) (born 1907; died 1992) was an Israeli jurist. Early life Tedeschi was born in the town of Rovigo in north-eastern Italy in 1907. He emigrated to the British Mandate of Palestine in 1939, entering the country initially with a tourist visa. Awards * In 1954, Tedeschi was awarded the Israel Prize, for jurisprudence. Hebrew
Hebrew (; ; ) is a Northwest Semitic language of the Afroasiatic language family. Historically, it is one of the spoken languages of the Israelites and their longest-surviving descendants, the Jews and Samaritans. It was largely preserved throughout history as the main liturgical language of Judaism (since the Second Temple period) and Samaritanism. Hebrew is the only Canaanite language still spoken today, and serves as the only truly successful example of a dead language that has been revived.
