Gabrielle Basketter
Gabrielle Amber Basketter (born 12 April 1993) is an English cricketer who currently plays for Worcestershire. An all-rounder, she is a right-handed batter and right-arm off break bowler. She has previously played for Hampshire, Wales and Central Sparks. Early life Basketter was born on 12 April 1993 in Portsmouth. She also works as Women & Girls' Officer for Warwickshire Cricket Board. Domestic career Basketter made her county debut in 2009, for Hampshire against Devon. She was Hampshire's leading run-scorer in the 2011 Women's County Championship, with 215 runs including two half-centuries. Basketter moved to Wales ahead of the 2013 season, scoring her first half-century for her new side in her third match, against Cheshire. In 2014, she took her career-best Twenty20 bowling figures, with 4/11 in her side's 6 run victory over Devon. She took her List A best bowling figures in 2015, with 4/13 against Durham. Cheshire Women Cricket Team
The Cheshire Women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic county of Cheshire. They joined the Women's County Championship in 1998 and competed in the tournament until 2016, as well as competing in the Women's Twenty20 Cup between 2009 and 2019. The team no longer competes at senior county level. They are partnered with the regional side North West Thunder. 2022 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy
The 2022 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy was the third edition of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, an English women's cricket 50-over domestic competition, which took place between 2 July and 25 September 2022. It featured eight teams playing in a round-robin group, followed by a knock-out round. The holders were the Southern Vipers, who won the first two editions of the competition. It ran alongside the Charlotte Edwards Cup. The tournament was named after former England captain Rachael Heyhoe Flint, Baroness Heyhoe-Flint, who died in 2017. Northern Diamonds finished top of the group stage, qualifying directly for the final. South East Stars and Southern Vipers qualified for the play-off, which was won by Vipers to set up the third Vipers versus Diamonds final in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy in its three years of existence. South East Stars are a women's cricket team that represent the London & South East region, one of eight regional hubs in English domestic women's cricket. They play their home matches at various grounds, including the County Cricket Ground, Beckenham. They are captained by Bryony Smith and coached by Johann Myburgh. The team carries over many elements of the WCSL team Surrey Stars, but are now partnered with both Surrey and Kent. The team won the inaugural Charlotte Edwards Cup, beating Northern Diamonds in the final. West Midlands Regional Cup
The West Midlands Regional Cup is a domestic women's one-day cricket competition in England. Organised by the Central Sparks regional team, the tournament involves four teams based in or near the West Midlands, with its first edition taking place in 2022. Staffordshire, Wales, Warwickshire and Worcestershire are the four teams competing, with Warwickshire also playing "in a consortium" with Shropshire. 2022 Women's Twenty20 Cup
The 2022 Women's Twenty20 Cup, known for sponsorship reasons as the 2022 Vitality Women's County T20, was the 13th edition of the Women's Twenty20 Cup, an English women's cricket Twenty20 domestic competition. It took place in April and May 2022, with 35 teams taking part, organised into eight regional groups. There was no overall winner, with Lancashire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Suffolk, Leicestershire and Rutland, Sussex, Middlesex and Devon winning their individual groups. The Northamptonshire Women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic county of Northamptonshire.
