Gabriel Davi Gomes Sara (born 26 June 1999), simply known as Gabriel Sara, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Süper Lig club Galatasaray. Sara was deployed as an attacking midfielder at São Paulo. Club career São Paulo Sara made his debut for São Paulo on 3 December 2017, in a 1–1 draw with Bahia, for the Brazilian Championship. Sara departed São Paulo in 2022. He played 120 matches and scored 17 goals during his time at the club. The CONMEBOL Sudamericana, named as ''Copa Sudamericana'' (; pt, Copa Sul-Americana ), is an annual international club football competition organized by CONMEBOL since 2002. It is the second-most prestigious club competition in South American football. CONCACAF clubs were invited between 2004 and 2008. The CONMEBOL Sudamericana began in 2002, replacing the separate competitions Copa Merconorte and Copa Mercosur (that had replaced Copa CONMEBOL) by a single competition. The CONMEBOL Libertadores, also known as the Copa Libertadores de América ( pt, Copa Libertadores da América), is an annual international club football competition organized by CONMEBOL since 1960. It is the highest level of competition in South American club football. The tournament is named after the ''Libertadores'' (Spanish and Portuguese for ''liberators''), the leaders of the Latin American wars of independence, so a literal translation of its former name into English is "''America's Liberators Cup''". 2019 São Paulo FC Season
The 2019 season was São Paulo's 90th year since the club's existence. Celebrating 9 decades of history, ''The Dearest'' has taken a place at a Campeonato Paulista finals after 16 years of tries, against the same rival of 2003 finals, Corinthians, but for the ''Tricolor Paulista'' a bad result happened again. 2017 São Paulo FC Season
The 2017 season was São Paulo's 88th year since the club's existence. At the beginning of this year São Paulo had as a featured the return of retired goalkeeper Rogerio Ceni, the owner of record numbers in ''Tricolor´s'' history such as 1,237 matches and 131 goals in 23 years. Ceni was hired as head coach just a year after retirement, and during his time off the former player spent his time studying technical fundamentals of football management in some clubs of Europe like Liverpool and Sevilla. The Copa do Brasil ( en, Brazil Cup) is a knockout football competition played by 92 teams, representing all 26 Brazilian states plus the Federal District. It is the Brazilian domestic cup and the Brazilian equivalent of the FA Cup, Taça de Portugal, Copa del Rey, Scottish Cup and Copa Argentina.
