Gabe Gala
Gabe Gala (born June 29, 1989 as Gala Gabriel Gala) is a Canadian association football, soccer player. Career Youth Gala moved from his native Nigeria to Brampton, Ontario as a young child. He played club soccer for the Brampton East SC and North Mississauga SC and his high school C. W. Jefferys Collegiate Institute, C. W. Jefferys. Professional Gala joined Toronto FC as a development player in 2007, and played extensively in the MLS Reserve Division prior to him making his professional debut on June 2, 2007, when he came on as a substitute against the Colorado Rapids. He scored his first goal for the Toronto FC first-team in an international friendly against Real Madrid on August 7, 2009. After making 15 appearances for Toronto in the 2010 season he was waived by the club on November 24 following the 2010 MLS Expansion Draft. Yola, Nigeria
Yola (Fulfulde: Ƴoola), meaning 'Great Plain' or 'Vast Plain Land', is the largest city, capital city and administrative center of Adamawa State, Nigeria. 2010 Canadian Championship
The 2010 Canadian Championship (officially the Nutrilite Canadian Championship for sponsorship reasons) was a soccer tournament hosted and organized by the Canadian Soccer Association that took place in the cities of Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver in 2010. The tournament has been held annually since 2008. As in previous tournaments, participating teams included the Montreal Impact, Toronto FC and Vancouver Whitecaps FC. The tournament consisted of home and away series between each pair of teams for a total of six games. Toronto FC won the tournament, claiming the Voyageurs Cup and Canada's entry into the Preliminary Round of the 2010–11 CONCACAF Champions League.
