Gaanderen Railway Station
Gaanderen is a railway station located in Gaanderen, Netherlands. The station was opened on 10 December 2006 and is located on the Winterswijk–Zevenaar railway. The train services are operated by Arriva. Train services Bus services There is no bus service to and from this station as the station was built at the expense of the bus line through Gaanderen. At the time of creation, locals considered the station unnecessary since Terborg station is just outside Gaanderen. Today, however, buses still run through Gaanderen, namely Line 40 on the Doetinchem Station - Dinxperlo route. The nearest bus stop is Gaanderen, Winkelcentrum, which is 500m away. Winterswijk–Zevenaar Railway
The Winterswijk – Zevenaar railway is a Dutch regional railway line, that connects Arnhem and Zevenaar with Doetinchem and Winterswijk. Opening The railway opened on 15 July 1885. It was part of a network of local railways in the Twente and Achterhoek regions, built by the Geldersch-Overijsselsche Spoorweg Maatschappij (GOLS). The line between Winterswijk and Zevenaar is the last of these railway lines which are still in regular use. Gaanderen
Gaanderen is a village in the Netherlands, Dutch province of Gelderland. It is located in the municipality of Doetinchem. The number of inhabitants is around 5,575 (2020). It was first mentioned around 1200 as de Gernere, and means "tapering land on a sandy ridge". Gaanderen was home to 482 people in 1840. The St Martinus Church dates from 1913 and is a replacement of a 1854 church. The tower of the old church remained.
