GT Road (TV Series)
''GT Road'' is a 2019 Pakistani family drama television series that originally aired on A-Plus Entertainment from 16 October 2019. It stars Asma Abbas, Khalid Butt, Sonia Mishal, Aijaz Aslam and Kashif Mehmood. Plot It revolves around the residents of a housing society GT Road, help each other find solutions when they face common, real-life challenges and get involved in sticky situations but at the same time fights with each other on small little issues. Sumbul Shahid (1954 – 6 May 2021) was a Pakistani actress, singer, and host. She was the daughter of Ahmad Bashir (Urdu: احمد بشیر; March 24, 1923 – December 25, 2004) a writer, journalist, intellectual, and film director from Pakistan She was known for her roles in the dramas ''Takkay Ki Ayegi Baraat'', '' Pani Jaisa Piyar'', ''Dekho Chaand Aaya'', ''Ishqaaway,'' and '' Nand''. Pakistani dramas, or Pakistani serials, are televised serials produced in Pakistan. Although most of the serials are produced in Urdu, an increasing number of them are produced in other Pakistani languages such as Sindhi, Pashto, Punjabi and Balochi. One of Pakistan's oldest television dramas is the Urdu serial '' Khuda Ki Basti'', which aired in 1969. Pakistani dramas, like serials elsewhere, reflect the country's culture. Standard-definition television (SDTV, SD, often shortened to standard definition) is a television system which uses a resolution that is not considered to be either high or enhanced definition. Oriental Films
Oriental Film was a film production company in Batavia, Dutch East Indies (now Jakarta, Indonesia). Established by ethnic Chinese businessman Tjo Seng Han in 1940, it completed four black-and-white films before it was closed in 1941. All the company's films were screened into the 1950s but may now be lost. They were directed by two men, Njoo Cheong Seng and Sutan Usman Karim, and launched the careers of actors such as Dhalia and Soerip. Established during the revival of the Indies film industry, Oriental released its first film, ''Kris Mataram'', in July 1940. It starred Njoo's wife Fifi Young, and relied on her fame as a stage actress to draw audiences.
