''GMA Balita'' () is a Philippine television news broadcasting show broadcast by GMA Network. Originally anchored by Mike Lacanilao, Rene Jose and Helen Vela, it premiered on May 19, 1986 replacing '' News at Seven''. In 1995, it was moved to weekday mornings and was reformatted as a morning news show. Lacanilao, Veronica Baluyot, Lyn Ching-Pascual, Alex Tinsay and Arnold Clavio served as the final anchors. The newscast concluded on April 8, 1998. It was replaced by ''Mornings @ GMA'' in its timeslot. Amado Pineda
Amado Pineda (May 5, 1938 – August 6, 2015) was a Filipino meteorologist who became the first television weather presenter in the Philippines. A meteorologist with the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), Pineda worked for GMA Network's news department as the network's first weather presenter for '' News at Seven'' in 1976. Roberto "Bobby" Samar Guanzon (June 20, 1948 – December 18, 2016) was a Filipino radio and television broadcaster and politician. Career Guanzon started as an anchorman and one of the pioneering members of DZAQ Radyo Patrol of ABS-CBN from 1968 until it was shut down due to martial law declaration.
