G75 Lanzhou–Haikou Expressway
The Lanzhou–Haikou Expressway (), designated as G75 and commonly referred to as the Lanhai Expressway () is an expressway in China that connects the cities of Lanzhou, Gansu, and Haikou, Hainan. When fully complete, it will be in length. It is one of the most important routes between Northwest China and the Southwest, and considered one of the developmental axes of Development of Western China. Qiongzhou Strait
The Qiongzhou Strait, also called the is the Chinese strait that separates Guangdong's Leizhou Peninsula from the island province of Hainan. It connects the Gulf of Tonkin on its west to the South China Sea on its east. The strait is on average wide with a maximum water depth of approximately . The strait is susceptible to closure during strong typhoon activity. Whales and dugongs were once common in the strait.
