Friends And Family (The Simpsons)
"Friends and Family" is the second episode of the twenty-eighth season of the American animated television series ''The Simpsons'', and the 598th episode of the series overall. It aired in the United States on Fox on October 2, 2016. The episode was written by J. Stewart Burns and directed by Lance Kramer. Plot Mr. Burns goes to an appointment with his psychiatrist to deal with his anger issues. Much to Burns' anger, Dr. Nussbaum gives up on his case after seventy years and says that he will never be able to have a family. Shortly after Burns leaves the room, the doctor dies. During his funeral, Burns pays for his tombstone which has "Paid for by C. Montgomery Burns" written on it, angering everyone there. Escaping from the angry mourners, Burns and Smithers accidentally run over Professor Frink who is wearing virtual reality glasses. Lance Kramer is an animation director on ''The Simpsons'' and ''Futurama''. He was as an additional sequence director for ''The Simpsons Movie''. He also worked as an assistant animator on '' Tom and Jerry: The Movie'' and served as a storyboard artist for ''Garfield and Friends''. Marjorie Jacqueline "Marge" Simpson () is a character in the American animated sitcom ''The Simpsons'' and part of the Simpson family, eponymous family. Voiced by Julie Kavner, she first appeared on television in ''The Tracey Ullman Show'' short "Good Night (The Simpsons), Good Night" on April 19, 1987. Marge was created and designed by cartoonist Matt Groening while he was waiting in the lobby of James L. Brooks' office. It was a part of Nexstar Media Group's Zap2it television news/listings site. History An Internet and statistical analyst, Robert Seidman had previously worked for IBM and Charles Schwab, and published an online newsletter about the Internet and AOL before founding TV by the Numbers; Bill Gorman had been an AOL executive until 1998, and had read Seidman's column. Friends since the early 1990s when they met near Washington, D.C., both were fond of television, as Gorman loved numbers and Seidman enjoyed statistics relating to it; the subject of television ratings data entered into one of their conversations. Tony Sokol (born March 23, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York (U.S. state), New York, United States) is an American playwright, writer and composer, best known for writing the theatrical horror series La Commedia Del Sangue: Vampyr Theatre in New York City. As a musician, Sokol played guitar, bass or sang in Queer Jesus, The Others, Busted Chops, Head First, 4Q, Death of the Party and the Abstract 4. He appeared several times on WBAI-FM with jazz vocalist Devorah Simpson, as well as backing her on live sessions on the station on guitar and with his band. Zoidberg
Dr. John A. Zoidberg, often referred to only by his last name, is a fictional character from the animated series ''Futurama''. He is a Decapodian, a crustacean-like species of alien, who works as the staff doctor for ''Planet Express'', despite his woeful understanding of human physiology and allusions to his questionable credentials. His character parodies the supposed wealth and automatic respect of modern doctors—for example, his incompetence at human medicine makes him extremely poor despite his profession, and he is implied to be frequently homeless when not at work. The Decapod (named after the actual Decapoda order of ten-footed crustaceans) are an extended parody on Jewish culture —the bigger joke being that shellfish are not kosher. Snoopy is an anthropomorphic beagle in the comic strip ''Peanuts'' by Charles M. Schulz. He can also be found in all of the ''Peanuts'' films and television specials. Since his debut on October 4, 1950, Snoopy has become one of the most recognizable and iconic characters in the comic strip and is considered more famous than Charlie Brown in some countries. The original drawings of Snoopy were inspired by Spike, one of Schulz's childhood dogs. ''Police Academy'' is a series of American comedy films, the first six of which were made in the 1980s and the seventh in 1994. The series opened with ''Police Academy'' (1984), which started with the premise that a new mayor had announced a policy requiring the police department to accept all willing recruits. The film followed a group of misfit recruits in their attempts to prove themselves capable of being police officers, and succeeding both in spite of and because of their eccentricities. The main character in the first four films, Carey Mahoney (Steve Guttenberg), was a repeat offender, who was forced to join the police academy as punishment. The seventh and to date last installment, ''Mission to Moscow'', was released in 1994. Guttenberg in September 2018 announced that a new ''Police Academy'' film was in the works. Alfred Ernest Jean III (born January 9, 1961) is an American screenwriter and producer. Jean is well known for his work on ''The Simpsons''. He was raised near Detroit, Michigan, and graduated from Harvard University in 1981. Jean began his writing career in the 1980s with fellow Harvard alum Mike Reiss.
