Fremont High School (Utah)
Fremont High School is a public high school located on 1900 North 4700 West in Plain City, Utah that serves the residents of rural Weber County. This school opened in the fall of 1994. The current principal is Alicia Mitchell. The school was named after the explorer John C. Frémont. Weber County ( ) is a county in the U.S. state of Utah. As of the 2020 census, the population was 262,223, making it Utah's fourth-most populous county. Its county seat and largest city is Ogden, the home of Weber State University. The county was named for the Weber River. David Hale (American Football)
David Hale (born March 3, 1983) is a former American football offensive lineman. Hale was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth round of the 2008 NFL draft. He attended Fremont High School and played college football at Weber State University. He played two full seasons for the Ravens, playing center and guard, and also on special teams. After a back injury in the preseason of 2010, the Ravens released Hale with an injury settlement. Personal life He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Nick Vigil (born August 20, 1993) is an American football linebacker who is a free agent. He played college football at Utah State, and was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He has also played for the Los Angeles Chargers and Minnesota Vikings. Weber High School
Weber High School is a Utah secondary school located in Pleasant View, Utah, about five miles north of Ogden. It serves the residents of Pleasant View, North Ogden, Harrisville, Huntsville, Eden, and Liberty. It is part of the Weber School District and includes grades 10–12. The location of the original Weber High School was between 11th and 12th Street on the east side of Washington Boulevard in Ogden (the site of a current Shopko store and disco). In 1926, Weber County voters approved a bond for a county high school by a vote of 733 to 480. Construction of the building began in 1926 and was completed in 1927. Educators held school in the building in the fall of 1926, although the school was still under construction. In 1953-54 the school expanded with the addition of a new south wing.
