Freddie Eriksson
Freddie Ove Eriksson (born 23 April 1981 in Stockholm, Sweden) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Sweden. Career summary Eriksson began his British speedway career in 2001 with King’s Lynn with whom he had two relatively successful seasons scoring over 400 points in 71 appearances. In between he became the Swedish Under-21 Speedway Champion in 2002. In 2003, he joined Ipswich on loan late on in the season and made only 14 appearances. Eriksson’s parent club (Oxford) recalled him for the end of the 2005 season but at the start of the 2006 season Eriksson was released after only 13 meetings. Eriksson started the 2007 season back at Oxford but once again he was unable to complete a full season in the UK after Oxford were forced to close down their Elite League team at the end of May due to financial problems. Eriksson did not expect to ride in the British Elite League in 2008 due to losing a large amount of money when Oxford were forced to shut down. However ...

The 2001 Individual Speedway Junior World Championship was the 25th edition of the World motorcycle speedway Under-21 Championships. The final took place on 26 August, to determine the champion. The final was won by Dawid Kujawa who qualified for the Speedway Grand Prix Challenge (a qualifying event for the 2002 Speedway Grand Prix) but he became injured and his place was taken by the runner-up Lukáš Dryml. Craig Watson (speedway Rider)
Craig Watson (born 6 August 1976 in Sydney, New South Wales) is an Australian motorcycle speedway rider who rode for the Newport Wasps, Poole Pirates, Belle Vue Aces, Glasgow Tigers and Birmingham Brummies in the Elite League. Watson was the winner of the 1996 NSW State Championship. He is also a triple Australian Longtrack Champion, having won the championship in 1997, 1998 and 2002. Career Watson spent most of his career with the Newport Wasps. He failed to agree terms with the Newport promotion for 2007 and was eventually signed up by former club Poole Pirates in the Elite League. However his scores were low and when he suffered an injury early in the season his replacement, Piotr Swist, did well enough to keep his place. Watson signed for Premier League team the Glasgow Tigers for the rest of the 2007 season and had a successful spell with the club. British Speedway Promoters' Association
The British Speedway Promoters Limited (BSPL) organises the domestic motorcycle speedway competitions in the United Kingdom. They are also responsible for the promotion and running of the FIM meetings staged in Britain. Each club has a promoter in the association, although promotions under three years of membership do not have a vote. A ''Management Committee'' is elected at the Annual General Meeting, and this committee is responsible for the day-to-day running of British speedway. All the promoters meet periodically to discuss matters of importance, usually rule changes.
