François-Xavier Ouellette
François-Xavier Ouellette (born February 13, 1992) is a Canadian former competitive ice dancer. With Élisabeth Paradis, he won bronze medals at the 2015 CS U.S. International Classic and at the 2016 Canadian Nationals. Career Early in his career, Ouellette skated with Jessica Aquino. He competed with Marie-Philippe Vincent from the 2007–08 season through 2009–10. They placed 13th on the junior level at the 2010 Canadian Nationals. Partnership with Paradis Ouellette began competing with Élisabeth Paradis in the 2010–11 season. Appearing on the junior level, they placed 5th at the 2011 Canadian Nationals and 6th in 2012. They moved up to the senior level in the 2012–13 season. Making their international debut, Paradis/Ouellette placed fifth at the 2013 International Cup of Nice. 2016 World Figure Skating Championships
The 2016 ISU World Figure Skating Championships took place March 28 – April 3, 2016 in Boston, Massachusetts. Figure skaters competed for the title of World champion in men's singles, ladies' singles, pairs and ice dancing. This marked the first time Boston was host to the World Figure Skating Championships. Alexandra Paul (figure Skater)
Alexandra Jane Paul (born September 16, 1991) is a Canadian former competitive ice dancer. She teamed up with partner Mitchell Islam in 2009. They are the 2010 World Junior silver medalists, 2013 Nebelhorn Trophy bronze medalists, and three-time Canadian national bronze medalists (2011, 2014, 2015). They competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics. They were married in September 2021. Personal life Alexandra Paul was born on September 16, 1991, in Toronto. She has two sisters. Her father is a radiologist. She studied political science at Oakland University, completing her final semester in April 2017. Career Alexandra Paul finished third with Jason Cheperdak in junior ice dancing at the 2009 Canadian Championships. The 2015 Canadian Tire National Skating Championships were held January 19–25, 2015 in Kingston, Ontario. Organized by Skate Canada and sponsored by Canadian Tire, the event determined the national champions of Canada.
