Franco Aureliani
Franco Aureliani is an American comic book writer/artist, best known for writing the DC Comics series '' Tiny Titans'', for which he won two Eisner Awards in 2009 and 2011. ''Tiny Titans'' also won a Harvey award in 2011. He was also nominated for another Harvey in 2013 for another project from DC Comics, ''Superman Family Adventures''. He and longtime writing partner and friend, Art Baltazar, won their third Eisner in 2014 for the Dark Horse Comics children's series '' Itty Bitty Hellboy''. He also teaches art at Carmel High School. The New York Comic Con is an annual New York City fan convention dedicated to Western comics, graphic novels, anime, manga, video games, cosplay, toys, movies, and television. Carmel High School (Carmel, New York)
Carmel High School is a public high school in Carmel, New York, currently serving grades 9-12. It is the only high school in the Carmel Central School District. The district includes part of Carmel, and part or all of several nearby towns, mostly in Putnam County, New York but also includes a small number of students from Dutchess County. Larfleeze, also known as Agent Orange, is a supervillain appearing in comics published by DC Comics, usually as an antagonist in books featuring Green Lantern and the Green Lantern Corps. He is the primary wielder of the orange light of avarice, derived from the emotional spectrum of greed, and does not voluntarily allow others to wield that orange light. Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) is an annual promotional effort by the North American comic book industry to attract new readers to independent comic book stores. It usually takes place on the first Saturday of May and is often cross-promoted with the release of a superhero film. Over two thousand participating stores give away millions of comic books annually. The event was proposed by Joe Field in the August 2001 issue of '' Comics & Games Retailer'' magazine and Free Comic Book Day was launched in 2002, coordinated by the industry's single large distributor, Diamond Comic Distributors.
